Hand chimes – set of 12

Manufactured in our factory this quality set of 12 hand chimes accompanies our PP1084 set of 15 hand chimes and PP2085 set of 10 hand chimes to make a fully chromatic set of 37 notes, a whole three octaves! Great care and attention have been taken in the production of this product to ensure that the quality of finish and tuning are perfect.

Impressive results can be achieved quickly and effectively making the hand chimes particularly useful as a musical teaching aid and create a high degree of motivation and fulfilment. Hand chimes are highly cost effective as a group instrument enabling players of various abilities and experience to share in the making of enjoyable and satisfying music.

Supplied with a padded gig bag they are easy to store.

Chime bar step for 8 chime bars

A good quality chime bar step. The wood construction is a bright and attractive red colour and the structure allows the bars to be arranged from low to high.

These are suitable for use with PP935 and PP083. Please note the chimes are not included.

Hand chimes starter pack – set of 5

These Percussion Plus Hand Chimes are a set of 5 nicely produced hand chimes. This set is often thought of as a starter pack as they contain the notes of a pentatonic scale starting on C52 and including D54, E56, G59 and A61. This is a robust set of hand chimes with replaceable beater assembly. These are great value in comparison to purchasing the chimes individually. Although not quite as versatile as the full, diatonic set, there are a lots and lots of well known melodies which employ the pentatonic scale and consequently can be well used in a simple classroom performance.

Coloured hand chimes set of 8 with case

This colourful PP015 hand chime set from Percussion Plus offers a fun and easy way for children to begin learning music.

The set features 8 diatonic chimes ranging from C64-C76 that are painted in eye catching colours and are supplied in a tough plastic carry case. Each hand chime is colour coded and has its note value on the handle of each chime.

Our set of 15 hand chimes has been extremely popular with music services and schools. They are very easy to play and are accessible to both the experienced and novice musician. Great care and attention has gone into the build of these chimes, there are accurately tuned and designed to last.

A great instrument to get young musicians focused and working as an ensemble. A simple instrument but very effective, a flick of the wrist will create a long lasting resonant sound.

Combine with the PP2085 to make a fully chromatic set. Further to this the PP2086 extends the set to a full 3 octaves!

Single alto chime bar

These alto chime bars are the perfect addition to the classroom ensemble. Each one features a durable plastic resonator with a precisely tuned alloy note bar, and produces a clear bell-like sound.

They can be played individually with the chime bar in one hand and beater in the other, or several can be laid out on a table and played like a glockenspiel.

Chime bars – set of 8 in case

Each individual note of this 8 note Chime Bar set consists of a plastic tone box with a metal chime bar attached to the top for a clear crisp sound. This chime bar set is supplied in a plastic carry case making this instrument easily portable and secure when storing it.

The colours of the chime bars match with the other products in our colour and play range including the Combi Bells PP275 and Wak! A Tubes PP790-1 which all follow Chroma Play a colour method in which colour coded notes correspond to specific notes of the music. This method allows players who cannot read music to play along without difficulty and for the instruments in this range to be played together with ease.
