A passion for percussion
At our purpose built Market Harborough factory, our skilled craftsmen manufacture, hand-made, quality music instruments that are of the highest standards. We are very proud of our products and guarantee complete satisfaction or your money back.
Established in 1987 in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, Percussion Plus is a leading supplier of high quality, handmade, precision tuned, percussion instruments for the UK and export markets. Our brand has become synonymous with products you can trust and offer exceptional value for money.
Percussion Plus champions British manufacturing and employs a highly experienced team of skilled craftsmen and women. We are still based in Market Harborough, where we have a purpose built factory which manufactures 40% of our 900+ product lines.
Our workforce continues to employ traditional skills and is committed to using high quality raw materials giving our “Perfect Pitch” instruments a superior build and longevity. Precision tuning methods to AS440 standards ensure an optimum sound and the distinctive Percussion Plus trademark “red” paint guarantees complete satisfaction. Over the past 25 years the company has gone from strength to strength and our ‘passion for percussion’ has resulted in us becoming market leaders in supplying percussion to the Education sector.
We have recently created a new range of classroom musical instruments, our “Essentials” range – ideal for those teachers operating on a limited budget. With our own production facility we can also offer bespoke production and a refurbishment service, ensuring Percussion Plus continue to be at the forefront of percussion supply. In addition we continue to invest in product development, regularly adding innovative new lines – recently introducing a range of market entry drums and Taiko Japanese drums under our Sonix brand.
Percussion Plus are passionate about promoting the benefits of buying from the UK and our commitment to British manufacturing means we only supply instruments which have undergone rigorous tuning procedures and we will never compromise on sound and pitch (unlike the instruments flooding the market from overseas suppliers). Manufacturing in the UK also allows us to control supply, guarantee high quality control, carry out ethical production and offer greater flexibility to customers. We promise to process orders efficiently and we provide excellent customer service. We are very proud of our company and offer an open invitation, (by prior appointment), for our customers and schools to visit the factory, learn about our production processes, see our product ranges and have a play on instruments that haven’t been encountered before!
