Our high quality authentic embossed pair of Tibetan Bells are cast in bronze in Nepal and have trditonal motifs embossed or engraved around the edges. Tibetan bells are sometimes known as Tingsha or Ting-Sha and are normally heavier than conventional finger cymbals. These bells are joined together with a cord and produce an authentic and clear high pitched long sound.
Tingsha bells were traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists as a religious ritual tool in prayer and are different from Indian Nepali Chinese Turkish or other cymbals. Tingsha bells can also be used in meditation yoga and sound healing and are perfect for playing along with a singing bowl PP643.
